How to Find Us

The conference will be held at the Peter Chalk Centre, University of Exeter, Stocker Road, Exeter, EX4 4QD.

Exeter is well-served by transport links, with its own international airport. It is also easily accessible from London, Birmingham and Bristol airports by rail and road links.

By Road

 

Exeter can be reached directly from London, the Midlands, South Wales and the North via the M4/M5. For satellite navigation, use the postcode EX4 4QD. For detailed driving directions, click here. Please note that parking on the campus is very limited.

By Rail

 

Exeter has two main railway stations - Exeter St David's and Central. Exeter St David's Station is approximately 10 minutes walk from the university and taxis are available. The average journey time from London Paddington is 2 hours 30 minutes. To plan your train journey, use National Rail Enquiries. By Coach / Bus

 

The university is served by the local Stagecoach D bus service. Buses runs regularly from the High Street and take approximately 10 minutes.


National Express coaches from many UK locations, including major airports, stop at the Coach Station. From here, it is a short walk to the High Street, where the local D bus to the university can be caught.

By Aeroplane

The closest airport to the university is Exeter Airport (20 minutes by taxi). This can be reached directly from many European cities, including Alicante, Amsterdam, Faro, Geneva, Paris, as well as from UK airports.

Bristol Airport is easily accessible from Exeter via bus to Bristol Temple Meads railway station and train to Exeter St Davids, or via the Stagecoach Falcon coach directly to Exeter.

London airports, including Heathrow and Gatwick, are connected to Exeter by rail and coach routes.
